The probiotic L. rhamnosus SP 1 has also demonstrated the capacity to reduce denture stomatitis, acting against the proliferation of C. albicans. SP 1 is particularly recommended for the elderly.
Lactobacillus rhamnosus LB21 – A probiotic suitable for use to prevent the development of dental caries and to reduce the number of days antibiotics are used for. Particularly recommended for children aged 1-5 years.
Bacillus coagulans BC 4 – A probiotic suitable for preventing the proliferation of the Streptococcus mutans bacteria inside the mouth (one of the main causes of dental caries). This probiotic also helps in the treatment of mouth ulcers. Particularly recommended for children.
Marxianus fragilis B0399 – useful to reduce volatile sulphur compounds (VSC) within the mouth, which is one of the main causes of halitosis.
