Danone launches a new line of Yogurísimo with L. rhamnosus CRL1505 from CONICET

Argentine President Alberto Fernández led, at the Danone plant, the launch of a food produced from a Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus CRL 1505™ probiotic strain, developed by CONICET, which improves respiratory and gastrointestinal health.

It is a new line of yogurt that will be distributed in institutions with social purposes throughout the country.

The license for this lactic bacteria, isolated from goat's milk in Tucumán, is also "exported" - within the framework of an agreement between Conicet and one of the most important probiotic-producing companies in the world, Sacco srl, which allows its commercialization to be included in different foods and biopharmaceuticals.

The Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus CRL 1505™ strain is capable of stimulating the immune system, optimizing natural defenses when preventing or dealing with respiratory and intestinal infections caused by viruses and bacteria, thus contributing to an improvement in the quality of life and health. .
