JOB DESCRIPTION

Sacco System is an international biotech hub for food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical innovation: Lactic acid ferments, probiotics, rennet and many other ingredients to promote the culture of food and life.

Sacco is looking for a Microbiologist especially interested in the field of probiotics and the human microbiome, that enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about his/her work. The candidate will be working as part of our Health and Nutrition R&D team, specifically doing laboratory work related to the characterization of probiotic bacteria in the context of research and development. The scientist will conduct assigned projects, assist with experimental design, data analyses, writing of reports, as well as data entry and standard documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree/PHD in microbiology
  • Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English
  • Knowledge in statistics
  • Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques
