JOB DESCRIPTION
Sacco System is an international biotech hub for food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical innovation: Lactic acid ferments, probiotics, rennet and many other ingredients to promote the culture of food and life.
Sacco Srl is looking for a skilled Laboratory Technician in the field of analytical sciences and molecular biology. The candidate will be part of the Analytics department and will be mainly involved in UHPLC analysis to estimate fermentation metabolites. Moreover, the candidate will act as a support in the identification of bacterial species using up-to-date molecular biology techniques.

Perform Liquid Chromatography (LC) analyses on fermentation media in the context of research and development.

Support in Bacteria identification by adopting Molecular Biology techniques (including NGTs)

Conduct assigned projects, data analysis, and writing of reports.

Data entry and standard documentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

MSc degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Food Technology or related scientific fields.

Previous experience in laboratory techniques (LC, UV-VIS spectroscopy, MALDI-MS and qPCR).

Basic experience in general microbiology techniques.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Good general computer skills
