MIX MG1 consists of specifically selected strains of Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus paracasei and Kluiveromyces marxianus ssp. marxianus which might be used, in combination with other acidifing cultures, to increase and to enhance flavour in cheese. MIX MG1 is a specificy starter used to impart flavor and to characterize the production of mozzarella.
