ST RS IDC 1 consists of specifically selected strain of fast fermenting and EPS producing Streptococcus thermophilus. ST RS IDC 1 ensures a uniform and controlled production of mild fermented milk, or sour cream with high viscosity (i.e. ryazhenka, and smetana). ST RS IDC 1 can also be used for production of fresh and soft cheese. It might be used, in blends with other starter cultures, for both yoghurt and other dairy products production.
