YT 833 consists of specifically selected strains of fast fermenting and EPS producing Streptococcus thermophilus. YT 833 ensures a uniform and controlled production of both mild fermented milk and sour cream with high viscosity (such as i.e. ryazhenka, and smetana). YT 833 can be also used for fresh and soft cheese production. Furthermore YT 833 can be used, in blends with other starter culture for yoghurt and other dairy products production.
