YT IDC consists of specifically selected strains of fast fermenting and EPS producing Streptococcus thermophilus. YT IDC ensures a uniform and controlled production of mild fermented milk or sour cream with high viscosity (i.e. Ryazhenka, and Smetana). YT IDC can also be used in the production of fresh and soft cheese. It might be used, in blends with other strains, for both yoghurt and other dairy products production.
