PMX IDC 14 consists of specifically selected strains of Streptococcus thermophilus to ensure a uniform and controlled production of soft cheese (resembling Crescenza or Brie) and hard cheese (resembling Emmental or Grana). PMX IDC 14 might also be used in the production of fermented milk products such as mild Laban and yoghurt.
